On June 8th the 51st Texas Water Safari will be held in San Marcos Texas. This year the "Worlds Toughest Canoe Race" will be dedicated to Brad Ellis. The Texas Water Safari Board has also established the "Brad Ellis Spirit Award." The award will be given each year to a competitor or team captain that exibits outstanding sportmanship.
