The Team Captain plays an integral part in every successful team's effort.

Providing this invaluable service will require you to be awake for long periods of time while maintaining general alertness, a willingness to help your team push past their own fatigue and infinite patience as you deal w/a number of the logistical challenges associated w/this critical role.

Team Captain responsibilities include:

• Re-supplying the team with water and ice
• Providing the team with information regarding race-conditions and other teams' progress
• Helping the team determine the best times to rest or push-on based on observation of mental and physical condition
• Official point-of-contact for the team. Race Officials must be able to contact the Team Captain at all times!
• Responsible for signing the team out of check-points at time of departure.
