This year there is only race day registration for the Jr Texas Water Safari. Fee is $30 per paddler. Race is the third Saturday in September every year. This year it's the 15th of September.
Registration starts at San Marcos City Park at 7:30 a.m. and the race starts at 9 a.m. There is a cut off time of 12 noon for reaching the Hwy 1979 bridge in Martindale.
Hot dogs and soft drinks around noon at the finish with cash awards at 2 p.m.
